What else is outside the scope of a standard inspection?

Among other things, TREC inspectors are not required to predict future conditions, operate shutoff or pressure valves, declare anything “safe,” review permits or prior reports, verify sizing of drainage or gutter systems, operate sump or recirculation pumps, provide repair cost estimates, or perform re-inspections. Reading the full general limitations is worthwhile before any inspection.
