Do you check smoke and carbon monoxide alarms?

Yes. We test smoke alarms with their test buttons and note missing alarms where they are expected. In homes with gas appliances or attached garages, we also note when carbon monoxide alarms are not present, a common and inexpensive fix we often recommend.
