What are new construction phase inspections?

Phase inspections check a new home at key stages of construction, such as before the foundation pour, before drywall and at completion, while issues are still easy to see and fix. Even with city inspections, an independent set of eyes protects your investment. At the pre-drywall stage, for example, we check sheathing tape and house wrap, framing straightness, headers, hangers, cripples, fireblocking, cabinet and tub blocking, and windows. Recent findings included improperly lapped sheathing tape, bowed studs and broken window glass, all easy to fix before drywall.
